Jaebeom Lee
Jaebeom Lee is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Nanoscience, Pusan National University (PNU), Pusan, South Korea. Lee received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Chungnam National University, Daejeon, South Korea, in 1998, and Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK, in 2003. He worked as a Research Fellow at the Chemical Engineering Department, University of Michigan (UM), Ann Arbor, MI, USA, till 2007. Lee received many awards such as Premier Research Award (2011) from PNU, Research Excellence Awards (2010-2011) from the college, Young Scientist Award (2007) from Korea-USA Nano Forum, and so forth. Lee is currently interested in fabrication and characterization of engineered assemblies of nanomaterials such as semiconductor materials and metallic materials. Also, he is interested in surface modification of nanocomposites for biocompatibility and biodegradability in bio-nanomedical applications such as biocomposite film, biosensors, and biointerface materials.
