Tatyana E. Shubina

Tatyana E. Shubina received her Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from the National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI), Kiev, Ukraine, in 2003, with a thesis entitled “Quantum-chemical study of alkane activation with electrophiles.” She was a Postdoc, Computer-Chemie-Centrum, Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (2007–2012), a Humboldt Fellow, Computer-Chemie-Centrum and Friedrich- Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany (2005-2006), an Assistant Professor, National Technical University of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine (2004-2005), and an engineer (Research Assistant), National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI), Kiev, Ukraine (2000–2004). Her areas of interest include computational organic and physical chemistry, reaction mechanisms, bio(in)organic chemistry, nanochemistry, computational electrochemistry, ab initio and DFT calculations, alkane activation, chemistry of radical ions, and catalysis.
