Konstantinos Nikitopoulos
Konstantinos Nikitopoulos was born in
Athens, Greece, in 1974. He received the
B.S. degree in physics and the M.S. degree
in electronics and telecommunications
from the National Kapodistrian University
of Athens (NKUA), Athens, Greece, in 1997
and 1999, respectively. Since 2005, he holds
a Ph.D. degree from the same university.
Since 1999, he has been a Research Associate
at the Institute of Accelerating Systems and
Applications, Athens, Greece, and has participated in several EU research
projects. Since October 2003, he has been with the General
Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Hellenic Ministry
of Development, Athens, Greece. Since October 2004, he has been
also a part-time Instructor in the Electrical Engineering Department,
the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Athens,
Greece. His research interests include the topics of signal processing
for communications and, in particular, in synchronization formulticarrier
systems. Dr. Nikitopoulos is a National Delegate of Greece
to the Joint Board on Communication Satellite Programmes of the
European Space Agency (ESA).
