Marieke Postma

Marieke Postma was born in Enschede, The Netherlands. She received her M.S. degree in theoretical physics from the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in 1998, and subsequently her Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, Calif, USA, in 2002. She held postdoctoral positions at ICTP, Nikhef, and DESY and is currently a Junior Staff Member at Nikhef. Her research focuses on the interface between theoretical high energy physics and cosmology. She has worked on topics such as cosmological inflation, topological defects, and dark matter.
