Daniel K. Roberts

Dr. Roberts received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, USA and he completed residency training at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. He has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis from the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and he also holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Public Health. He currently holds the rank of Professor at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, and he also has adjunct faculty appointments at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Department of Ophthalmology and at the UIC School of Public Health where he teaches epidemiologic methods. He is currently active in clinical care and research with primary research interests involving the study of glaucoma, with particular emphasis on pigmentary glaucoma. He also studies novel infrared imaging techniques for examination of the iris.
