Teddy Furon works as a Senior Researcher at INRIA, in the TEXMEX team. His fields of interest include digital watermarking, passive fingerprinting (also known as traitor tracing), security of content-based image retrieval, and more broadly security issues related to multimedia content. He received the D.E.A (M.S.) degree in digital communication in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree in signal and image processing in 2002, both from Telecom ParisTech, Paris, France. From 1998 to 2001, Furon served as a Research Engineer in the Security Lab of THOMSON multimedia in France, working on digital watermarking in the framework of copy protection. He continued working in this field as a Postdoc Researcher at the TELE Lab of the Universite Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. From September 2008 to January 2010, he worked in the Security Labs of Technicolor and came back to INRIA Rennes as a Senior Researcher.
