Sergio Canazza is an Assistant Research Professor "Professore Aggregato" at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padua, Italy, where he is responsible for the course of computer science and where he is a Lecturer of the courses on "sound and music computing." He received a degree in electronic engineering from the University of Padua, Italy, and he is working with the Sound and Music Computing Group in the university. Canazza’s main research interests focus on the following: (1) expressive information processing, (2) auditory displays, and (3) audio documents preservation and restoration. He is an Advisory Editor in the Journal of New Music Research (Taylor and Francis Group). He is an author or a coauthor of more than 130 publications in international journals and refereed international conferences. He has been a general chairman and member of technical committees at several conferences and a project manager in European projects.
