Robert T. Schoen
Robert T. Schoen, M.B.A. degree, is a Clinical Professor of medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, Conn, USA and an Attending Physician at Yale New Haven Hospital. He practices rheumatology at New Haven Rheumatology. Dr. Schoen received his B.A. degree from Harvard College, Mass, USA, his M.D. degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Md, USA, and completed an internal medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. He trained in rheumatology as a Research Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In addition to maintaining a full-time clinical practice, Dr. Schoen is actively involved in clinical research. Shortly after its inception, he became a Member of the Lyme Disease Research Clinic in the Section of Rheumatology at Yale University School of Medicine and was then a codirector of this clinic. He has participated in numerous studies and clinical trials related to Lyme disease, its causation, prevention, and treatment. Dr. Schoen is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. He is also the current President of the Connecticut Rheumatology Association.
