Tadahiko Shien

Tadahiko Shien was born in Kagawa, Japan, in 1971. He received the D.M. degree from Kagawa University, Kagawa, Japan and the Ph.D. degree from the Okayama University Graduated School, Okayama, Japan. He is specialized in breast and endocrine surgery, medical oncology (breast cancer), and radiological and pathological diagnosis. From June 1, 2004 to March 31, 2006, he was a Junior Resident in surgical oncology at the National Cancer Center Hospital and from April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2008 Senior Resident in breast surgery. Since April 1, 2008, he works as a Teaching Assistant at the Division of Breast and Endocrine Surgery, Okayama University Hospital. Shien serves as a Member of ASCO (2007), JSCO (Japan Society of Clinical Oncology) (2001), and JBCS (Japanese Breast Cancer Society) (2001). He is recipient of the Breast Cancer Research award 2008 from the Japanese Breast Cancer Society.
