Bruno Fuchs serves as a Director of Sarcoma Center. His specialty includes surgical treatment of bone, biomedical sciences, and cancer biology. He obtained an M.D. degree from the Medical Faculty of Zurich, Switzerland, 1992, another M.D. degree from the United States Medical Licensing Examination USMLE, 1997, and Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences and tumor biology from the Mayo Graduate School, Mayo College of Medicine, Rochester, MN, USA, 2004. His basic research includes molecular mechanisms mediating metastasis in osteosarcoma using in vitro and in vivo approaches to improve therapy, while his clinical research involves functional outcome analysis after surgical resection of bone and soft tissue tumors and biologic and prosthetic reconstruction after tumor resection.
