Taketoshi Suehiro graduated from the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in March 1989. He has been the Director of Acute Care Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care Center, Onga-Nakama Medical Association Onga Hospital, since May 2011. From 2010 to 2011, he was the Director of the Acute Care Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care Center, Saiseikai Yahata General Hospital. From 2004 to 2010, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of General Surgical Science, Gunma University; from 2000 to 2004, an Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery and Science, Kyushu University; from 1993 to 1996,a Fellow, Division of Abdominal Organ Transplantation, Mount Sinai Medical Center; and from 1989 to 1993, a Fellow, Department of Surgery II, Kyushu University. Currently, he has been a Clinical Professor at the University of Occupational and Environmental Health since April 2010. He specializes in surgery (liver transplantation) and gastroenterological endoscopy. Moreover, he is a board certified surgeon, board certified surgeon in gastroenterology, board certified surgeon in HBP, and board certified gastroenterologist.
