Anna Danielsson is a Physical Therapist. She is a Certified Specialist in neurology. She has clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation and physiotherapy and teamwork in different neurological diagnoses. Danielsson is a Lecturer at the physiotherapy programme and Assistant Researcher at the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology at the University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden. She is especially interested in stroke rehabilitation, especially assessment of function and activity and gait training after stroke. Danielsson’s Doctoral thesis, which she received in 2008, “Studies on energy expenditure in walking after stroke” deals with assessment/measurement of energy cost of walking, walking with body weight support, and walking with orthoses. She has experience in gait training after stroke with body weight support. Danielsson’s current research is focused on walking with virtual reality feedback, assessment of motor function, and balance after stroke.
