Angel M. Garcia-Lora

Angel Garcia-Lora was born in Granada, Spain, in 1962. He received the chemical degree and the Ph.D. degree from the Universidad de Granada (UGR), Granada, Spain, in 1986 and 1999, respectively. Since 1993, he has been with the Servicio de Analisis Clínicos e Inmunología, Hospital Universitario Virgen de las Nieves Granada. From 2000 to 2004, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at this department. Since 2004, he has been a Senior Researcher. He is mainly interested in tumor immunology: escape mechanisms, MHC molecules, immunosurveillance, metastases progression, dormancy metastases, and tumor animal models. He has directed three Ph.D. theses. Moreover, he is a Member of Immunology Spain Society (SEI), European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), and European Federation of immunogenetics (EFI). Actually, he is Reviewer for several international journals including the British Journal Cancer, BMC Cancer, and Cancer Immunology Immunotherapy.
