Feyzi Başar

Feyzi Başar was born in Erzurum, Turkey, in 1954. He is a Professor and the Head of the Mathematics Department, Faculty of Arts and Science, the Fatih University, Istanbul, Turkey, and he received his Ph.D. degree from the Ankara University (1986). He is mainly interested in functional analysis: summability, sequence spaces, FK spaces, bases, dual spaces, matrix transformations, spectrum and the fine spectrum of a linear operator over any given sequence space, the alpha, beta, gamma, and continuous duals and some topological properties of the matrix domains, sets of the sequences of fuzzy numbers, and multiplicative calculus. He is the author of about 70 papers and a monograph which will be published in 2012 at the Bentham Science Publishers (e-books) in the international literature.
