Patrizia Boracchi is a student at the School of Biology, University of Milan, Milan, Italy. She graduated in 1983. She possesses postgraduate degree in medical statistics in 1989 at the University of Milan. From 1991 to 2000 she is a Technical Collaborator at the Institute of Medical Statistics and Biometry at the School of Medicine and Surgery, University of Milan, and has been a Researcher since 2001. Boracchi?s main research fields are statistical methods for survival analysis with particular reference to flexible regression modeling of the hazard function and at their extension in presence of competing risks. She collaborates with clinicians and researchers for study planning and data analysis. She is the author of more than 150 scientific publications in Italian and English language on international Journals. Boracchi is teaching statistics in several university courses.
