Jamal M. Khatib
Jamal M. Khatib is a Reader in civil engineering materials in the School of Technology at the University of Wolverhampton. He has a BEng degree in civil engineering, M.S. degree in structural engineering and a Ph.D. degree in construction materials. Previously, he worked at the Universities of Aberdeen, Glamorgan, and Sheffield Hallam. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK), a Member of Institution of Engineers of Ireland, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). He published more than 100 papers in the field of construction materials containing recycled materials, industrial by-products, and novel materials. Materials include recycled concrete and brick, desulphurised waste, metakaolin, sludges, and incineration bottom ash. Some of Dr Khatib’s publications received much critical acclaim.
