Chunwen Sun

Chunwen Sun works as an Associate Professor in Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2006. After graduation, Sun joined the group of Prof. Ulrich Stimming as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Technische Universität München (TUM), München, Germany; then served as a Research Associate in the Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation, National Research Council of Canada; and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Prof. John B. Goodenough at the University of Texas at Austin, Tex, USA, in 2010-2011. His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials and their applications in energy conversion and storage (fuel cells and lithium-ion batteries).
