Hamza Özer

Hamza Özer was born in Erzincan, Turkey, on August 10, 1973. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees all in electrical and electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University, Başkent University, and BoğaziÇi University, Turkey, in 1996, 1998, and 2005, respectively. From 1996 to 1999, he was with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Başkent University, as a Research Assistant. Since June 1999, he has been a Senior Researcher at the National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology (UEKAE). His research interests are in signal processing and applications, data hiding, audio watermarking, robust audio hashing, time-frequency signal analysis, speech processing, image processing, development of test and measurement plan and setup.
