Dr. Ross Molinaro is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, USA. He is a certified Medical Technologist and board certified in clinical chemistry. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Clinical Laboratories at Emory University Hospital Midtown and the Emory Clinical Translational Research Laboratory. Ross currently serves as a member on numerous national committees, including the American Association for Clinical Chemistry’s (AACC) Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians (SYCL) and the Clinical Chemistry Journal’s Trainee Council Executive Committee. Ross serves as an American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board Liaison to the Clinical Chemistry Examination Committee, and a member of the Board of Governors as the ASCP/AACC Member Representative. Dr. Molinaro has published over 50 journal articles, book chapters, and reviews and he serves as Editor-in-Chief of the ASCP publication LabQ and is an Editorial Board member of the journal Immunological Investigations. His clinical research interests reside in diabetes, Hb A1c, and the practice and standardization of mass spectrometry in the clinical laboratory.
