Rattikorn Hewett serves as a Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Texas Tech University. She obtained a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Iowa State University, an M.Eng. degree in computer science from the University of New South Wales, and a B.A. degree (with honors) in pure mathematics and statistics from Flinders University, Australia. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Knowledge System Laboratory, Stanford University. Her research in artificial intelligence (AI) includes model-based reasoning, intelligent control, blackboard architectures, and machine learning with applications in data mining, bioinformatics, and software engineering. Her recent work involves applied AI research to automated software engineering in the areas of software quality assurance, software testing, as well as security analysis and risk assessment of software architectures. She has published extensively and has served on several editorial boards, and numerous international conference and workshop program committees.
