Tiziano Bo graduated from the University of Eastern Piedmont "Amedeo Avogadro,” Alessandria, Italy, in 2001 with a thesis entitled "structural and functional composition of the macrobenthic communities in an Apennine stream (Visone, Alessandria)”. From 2002 to 2004, Bo worked in Arpa Piemonte as a Consultant (Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Alessandria) where he worked on the biological monitoring of Italian rivers and stream functionality of lotic ecosystems. From November 2004 to December 2007, he was a Ph.D. degree student at the University of Piemonte Orientale, Italy, where he is evaluating the effect of extreme variations in water flow (flood and dry events) on the structure of the macrobenthic communities. Actually, he is a Contract Professor in hydrobiology. He worked on some natural parks in projects related to the river ecology and taught in schools of different levels. He is coauthor of more than 150 publications (48 on ISI journals with impact factor).
