Diane L. Elliot
Diane L. Elliot, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.S.M., serves as a Professor of medicine at the Division of Health Promotion & Sports Medicine at the Oregon Health & Science University. She has been the principal investigator for NIH-supported health promotion trials in work sites, schools, and ambulatory medical care settings. The Worksite program for first responders (PHLAME) is listed on the Cancer Control PLANET website of evidence-based programs for both nutrition and physical activity. The Division’s health promotion programs for male and female high school athletes are listed on the National Registry for Evidence-based Prevention programs. Dr. Elliot has been a doping control officer for the U.S. Anti-Doping Association, and she has testified before Congress on women and drug use in sports. She has more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and texts.
