Abidin Kaya

Abidin Kaya holds the degrees of Ph.D., P.E., and LEED AP. He is the Vice President of AMEL Technologies, Inc. and President of AKAYA and Associates, LLC. Both companies provide engineering consulting and research services in Hawaii. He has published more than 80 technical papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He received his Ph.D. from Lehigh University in 1996. He was a Faculty Member at Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey between 1998 and 2002. He conducts research on geoenvironmental engineering area, landslides and bridge scour piers.
