Antonio Ferreras

Antonio L. Ferreras is an Associate Professor of health sciences at the University of Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain and a Consultant Surgeon (ophthalmology) at the Miguel Servet University Hospital in Zaragoza (Spain). His research focus is glaucoma diagnosis techniques. Dr. Ferreras received his M.D. degree from the Zaragoza University followed by eye surgery training and an ophthalmology residency at the Miguel Servet University Hospital. The University of Zaragoza awarded him his Doctorate in 2003. He has published numerous articles in the main scientific journals of his speciality. Ferreras received in 2010 the Arruga Award from the Spanish Society of Ophthalmology, which recognise the best research and professional trajectory of a Spanish ophthalmologist younger than 40 years old.
