Berlin Chen

Berlin Chen received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and information engineering from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2001. In 2002, he joined the National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, where he is now a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering. His current research activities are centred around robust and discriminative feature extraction, acoustic and language modeling, search algorithms for large-vocabulary continuous speech recognition, and speech retrieval, summarization, and mining. Professor Chen is a Member of the ISCA and ACLCLP. He currently serves as a Board Member and Chair of academic council of ACLCLP.
