Tamas Karosi was born in Miskolc, Hungary, in February 11, 1979. He completed high school graduation with excellent qualification in 1997 at the Fö ldes Ferenc Grammar School Miskolc as a member of biology course. He started general medical graduation in 1997 at the University of Debrecen, Medical and Health Science Center. He finished medical graduation in 2003 with “Summa cum laude” qualification. As a Ph.D. Student or Postdoctoral Fellow, he attend the Doctoral School of University of Debrecen from 2003. His postdoctoral work was coordinated by Prof. I. Sziklai (University of Debrecen, Medical and Health Science Center, Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery), with postdoctoral thesis “The role of measles virus in the pathogenesis of otosclerotic stapes fixation.” He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2005 with “Summa cum laude” qualification. He currently works as an Assistant Lecturer of the clinic. He finished his ENT graduation in 2009. He serves as the Leader of the Middle Ear Pathology Research Group and Temporal Bone Bank of the department.
