Yong Sik Ok

Yong Sik Ok is a Professor at the Environmental Remediation and Restoration Laboratory (ERR Lab), Department of Biological Environment, Kangwon National University, Chuncheon, Korea. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in environmental soil chemistry in 2003 from the Division of Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering, the Korea University, Seoul, Korea. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2006-2007 at the Department of Renewable Resources, the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Dr. Ok's expertise area lies in phytoremediation, bioavailability heavy metals, soil reclamation, and nutrient availability.
