Xiaodong Cao

Xiaodong Cao is an Associate Professor of mathematics at Cornell University. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and received his Ph.D. degree in 2002 from MIT, MA, USA. He was a Ritt Assistant Professor at Columbia University, NY, USA, before joining the faculty of Cornell University, NY, USA in 2006. His research focuses on geometric evolution equations, in particularly, the Ricci flow.
