Osvaldo L. Casagrande
Osvaldo L. Casagrande received his Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry with Antonio E. Mauro (1987–1991, Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Brazil) and postdoc in olefin polymerization catalysis with R. F. Jordan (1996–1998, The University of Iowa, IA, USA). He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, UFRGS, Brazil. His research interests are directed towards the design of novel organometallic complexes for use as practical catalysts in olefin oligomerization and polymerization processes.
