André Talvani
0000-0002-6685-6229André Talvani graduated in biological science (PUC-MG, Brazil) in 1998 and obtained his Ph.D. degree in immunology (UFMG, Brazil) in 2002 and Postdoc from Mount Sinai School of Medicine (NY, EUA) in 2003. Talvani serves as an Associate Professor at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP), MG, Brazil, working on immunopharmacology of human and experimental infection of Trypanosoma cruzi, chemotherapy of Chagas disease, and inflammatory biomarkers of chronic diseases. Talvani got a research productivity fellowship from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) in 2010. He served as a Coordinator of the Nucleus of Biological Science Research/NUPEB (2011–2013) and of the Human Research Ethics Committee (2011–2013) and, recently, was appointed as the Prorector (Assistant) in Research and Post-Graduation Studies at UFOP, Brazil.
