Fernanda M. Frank
Fernanda M. Frank was born in Cordoba, Argentina, in 1971. She received the Biologist degree from the National University of Cordoba, Cordoba, Argentina, and the Ph.D. degree in immunoparasitology from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1995 and 2003, respectively. Since 1997, she has been teaching and doing research at Cátedra de Inmulogía, Facultad de Farmacia y Bioquímica, University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and at the Instituto de Inmunidad Humoral (IDEHU), an institute belonging to UBA and to the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET). At present, Frank serves as a Senior Lecturer of immunology at UBA and Senior Researcher at CONICET. Her investigations are mainly related to the design of new tool for treating and preventing protozoan parasitic diseases.
