Mehmet Engin received his B.S. degree in electronics technology from Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey, his M.S. degree from Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey, and Ph.D. degree from Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey. He was Lecturer in the Technical Center in Kocaeli University from 1993 to 1999. He is Faculty Member since 2000 at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Engineering Faculty, Ege University, Izmir, Turkey. His research interests include biomedical signal and image analysis, biomedical instrumentation, and medical technologies. He developed several portable prototype biomedical systems and he found Biomedical and Signal Processing Project Laboratory in his department. He supervised two Ph.D. and ten Master theses.
