Nicola Coppola completed his medical studies at the Second University of Naples, Italy, where he also received his specialization in infectious diseases and his doctorate degree in microbiology. He also works as an Assistant Professor in the Medicine School as well as in Infectious Diseases Postgraduate School and in the Hygiene Postgraduate School in the Second University of Naples. He cooperates many investigation projects. He has been the Speaker and Moderator at 27 national and international Congresses, and he has published 54 papers on international Med-Line indexed journals. His research activity has contributed to improve the knowledge on hepatitis viruses (A, B, and C) infection and on HIV infection and AIDS.
