Tewfik Hamidouche holds a Ph.D. degree in nuclear safety (2010) from the University of Sciences and Technology of Algiers, Algeria, an M.S. degree in nuclear engineering and safety in 1992 from the Ministry of High Education and Research, and a High Diploma in solid state physics (1988) from the University of Sciences and Technology of Algiers (Algeria). He has been a Research Assistant in a nuclear research centre for development of energetic systems (1992–1996). He was also a Researcher at the Centre for Radioprotection and Safety from 1996 to 1999. Since 2000, Dr. Hamidouche has been a Researcher at the Nuclear Research Centre of Algiers in charge of validation and assessment of tools for safety analysis of research reactors and is involved in several national projects.
