Orietta Dalpiaz obtained a degree in medicine and surgery in Verona (Italy), July 2001. She was trained as Urologist at the Institute of Urology of the University of Verona, being appointed as specialist for urology in 2006. She worked as General Urologist with special interest on functional urology and reconstructive surgery, as well as oncology and cancer surgery at the Department of Urology of the University of Innsbruck, Austria (2006-2008). Between 2008 and 2010, she worked at the Department of Urology in Dortmund (Germany) training endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery. Since July 2010, she works at the Department of Urology of the Medical University of Graz (Austria). She is particularly interested in urological applications of evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development. She has ICH-GCP experience and got Fellow of the European Board of Urology in June 2007. She is member of several scientific societies (EAU, SIU), has published several papers on functional (urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders) and oncological urology in international peer-reviewed journals and reviewed many papers about functional urology.
