Satomi Onoue is the Associate Professor in Department of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Shizuoka, Japan. He earned his Ph.D. degree at University of Shizuoka, Shizuoka, Japan. He has published 85 peer-reviewed papers, and he was author of 8 book chapters. He worked at Pfizer global research and development, and he got 24 patents on new drug candidates, DDS, and research tools. His research interests are development of peptide-based drug candidates for treatment of asthma/COPD, dry eye, and diabetes; (2) design of dry powder inhalation system for pulmonary administration of peptides; (3) development of novel analytical tools for predicting drug-induced phototoxicity of pharmaceutical substances.
