Song Guo received his Ph.D. in computer science from University of Ottawa, Canada. He currently is a Full Professor with the University of Aizu, Japan. His research interests are mainly in the areas of computer and telecommunication networks, cloud computing, big data, green computing, and high performance computing. He has published over 230 papers in referred journals and conferences in these areas. Many of them were published in prestigeous IEEE Transactions journals and top international conferences. He currently serves as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems and IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing. He is also in the editorial board of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, ACM/Springer Wireless Networks, International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, etc. He has served on steering committee, organizing committee (as General Chair/Co-Chiar, TPC Chair/Co-Chair, Symposium Chair/Co-Chair, etc.) and program committee for over 100 international conferences and workshops. He is a senior member of both IEEE and ACM.
