Tomomi Uchiyama

Tomomi Uchiyama finished the Graduate School of Engineering at the Nagoya University, Japan, in 1987. He received the Doctor Degree of Engineering from the Nagoya University in 1992. He is a Professor at EcoTopia Science Institute at the same university. His major field of research is the computational fluid dynamics, especially for multiphase flows. He received Academic Awards from the Japanese Society of Mechanical Engineers (1985, 1998), the Japanese Society for Multiphase Flow (1998, 2003), the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (2002), and the Hosokawa Powder Technology Foundation (2007). He is also an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Engineering Systems Modeling and Simulation and an Editorial Advisory Board of the Open Numerical Methods Journal.
