Wioletta Waleszczyk serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurophysiol, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland, and the Chief of Visual Group, NCKU Laboratory of the Visual System. Waleszczyk received an M.S. degree in physics, Department of Physics, Warsaw University, Warsaw, in 1988, a Ph.D. degree in neurobiology, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, PAS, Warsaw, in 1995, and a D.S. degree in neurobiology, Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, PAS, Warsaw, in 2006. His main domain of research includes parallel processing in the visual system, extrageniculate visual pathway, and visual system plasticity.
