Anna Capietto achieved her Ph.D. degree in mathematics, SISSA-International School for Advanced Studies (Trieste, Italy), in 1990. She currently serves as a Full Professor of mathematical analysis, Department of Mathematics, University of Torino, Italy. Her areas of expertise include the following: topological methods for nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Capietto serves also as a Visiting Professor at the universities of Beijing, Suzhou, Louvain, Olomouc, Birmingham, International School for Advanced Studies, Granada, and Lisbon. In 2011, she has given a series of lectures on "Maslov index and global bifurcation for nonlinear boundary value problems" in the CIME course "Stability and bifurcation for non-autonomous differential equation." Capietto has also been the Organizer of the two special sessions in international conferences. She is the author of 47 research papers, published in international journals. Capietto acts as a referee for 10 international journals and for Italian and international research projects. She is a Member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Rendiconti del Seminario Matematico dell’Università e Politecnico di Torino."
