Maynard H. Schaus
Maynard H. Schaus obtained his Ph.D. degree in zoology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, USA, working on nutrient cycling by fish in lake ecosystems. Currently, he is a Professor of biology and the Director of Undergraduate Research at Virginia Wesleyan College, Norfolk, Va, USA. His laboratory has conducted investigations on how fish biomanipulation can impact lake nutrient cycles, how diet and size structure impact nutrient cycling by consumers, and quantifying the uptake of nutrients by mangroves exposed to municipal waste.
