Seungjoo Haam

Seungjoo Haam received the B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 1988, the M.S. degree in chemical engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA, in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from The Ohio State University as well in 1996. From 01/2004 to 02/2005 Haam has served as a Visiting Professor at the Biomedical Engineering Department, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio, USA; in 03/2008, he held the position of the Director of the Yonsei International Campus R&D Park, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, and in 03/2010 the Director at Chemical Agent & Hardware, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, while in 03/2010 he worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Radiology, School of Medicine, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. His current research areas include multifunctional nanoprobes, drug/gene delivery systems, nanobiosensors, and magnetic cell separation.
