Peter Plath

Peter Plath was born in Berlin 1942; he studied chemistry at Free University of Berlin, where he received Diplom FHI_ MPG, Berlin, 1969, on catalysis; his Doctor thesis TU Berlin, 1972, was on quantum mechanics. Since 1973, he is a Professor for physical and theoretical chemistry, University of Bremen(emeritus since 2007); a Guest Professor at Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft; a Member of "Leibniz-Sozietät der Wissenschaften zu Berlin" since 2003. His actual sientific interests are synergetics in physical chemical systems: catalysis, electrochemistry, foam research, and quantum-informatics.
