Eva Bártová

Eva Bártová was born in Pelhrimov, Czech Republic, in 1974. She received the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Science in 1999 and 2003, respectively. The topic of her Ph.D. thesis focused on parasite Toxoplasma gondii and diagnosis of toxoplasmosis by methods of molecular biology. From 2001 to 2003, she worked as an Assistant at Department of Biology and Wildlife Diseases, and since 2003, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the same department. She participates in practical courses and lecturing of biology and genetics. Since 2003, she is a Member of Czech Society for Parasitology, Protozoologic Section. She is mainly interested in study of parasites Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum in domestic animals and wildlife by serologic methods, methods of molecular biology, and biologic experiments. Since 2005, she participates in Grant no. MSM6215712402 from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic. She was asked to write 13 reviews for 7 prestigious journals.
