Roland Mallier holds a Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the Brown University, Providence, RI, USA, as well as M.A. degrees in both applied mathematics and engineering from the same institution, and he did his undergraduate studies at the Churchill College, Cambridge, UK. Mallier is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, York University, Toronto, ON, Canada. He has previously worked at the McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada, and the University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada, and participated in the summer program in geophysical fluid dynamics at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, MA, USA. He has research interests in classical applied mathematics including theoretical fluid mechanics and mathematical finance.
