Connie M. Remsberg

Connie M. Remsberg received her B.S. degree in biology from University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho in 2006. She went on to complete a combined Pharm.D./Ph.D. program at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash, USA. She received her Pharm.D. degree in 2010 and her Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical sciences under the supervision of Dr. Neal Davies in 2011. Dr. Remsberg completed her thesis work on the “Pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and formulation development of hydrophobic xenobiotics.” A large focus of Dr. Remsberg’s research has been on polyphenols and other naturally derived compounds including developing and validating methods of analysis utilizing HPLC and LC/MS assays. Dr. Remsberg is now completing a postdoctoral fellowship in the Clinical Pharmacology Training Program at University of California, San Francisco, Calif, USA. She is currently working in the laboratory of Dr. Les Benet investigating clinical drug-drug interactions that may occur through inhibition of drug transporters.
