Dashan Fan

Dashan Fan studied and received the Ph.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO, USA. From 1990 to 1991, Fan worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Washington University in St. Louis. During the period 1991–1996, Fan served as an Assistant Professor and also worked as an Associate Professor from 1996 to 1999, both at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, USA. Since 1999, Fan is working as a Full Professor at the University of Wisconsin. Fan ’s main research interests include harmonic analysis on compact lie group, rough singular integrals, Hilbert transform along curves, transference method, Hausdorff operators, modulation spaces, wave equation, damped fractional wave equation, fractional heat equation, and multilinear analysis. Fan published more than 120 papers.
