Ren-Jye Dzeng received the B.S. degree in architecture from the Department of Architecture, National Chen Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan (1982/9–1986/6), the M.S. degree in construction engineering and management from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA (1989/9–1990/12), and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA (1991/1–1995/10). Currently, he is a Professor and a Chairman at the Department of Civil Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, Tainan, Taiwan. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Eco-City Smart Living Integrated Technology Center, NCTU, Hsinchu, Taiwan, as well as being the Chair of the Smart Living and Cultural Innovation Alliance, Taiwan. His research interests include construction management, artificial intelligence, construction safety monitoring, sensors, and brain wave.
