Jani Heino

Jani Heino received his Doctoral degree from the University of Jyvaskyla, Jyväskylä, Finland, in 2002. After spending a Postdoc period at the Finnish Environment Institute, he has been employed in various projects on macroecology, community ecology, conservation biology, and climate change effects on freshwater biodiversity. He works now as an Academy Research Fellow at the Finnish Environment Institute in Oulu, Finland. Heino is interested in community ecology, macroecology, biogeography, and global change research.
