Hideto Miyabe

Hideto Miyabe is a Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Hyogo University of Health Sciences, Japan. He was born in Japan in 1967. Miyabe received his B.S. degree in 1991 and his Ph.D. degree in 1996 from Osaka University, Japan. He moved to the School of Pharmacy, Hyogo University of Health Sciences, Japan, as a Professor in 2007. After working as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow with Professor M. P. Sibi at North Dakota State University, USA, in 2001, he moved to the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyoto University, Japan, as an Assistant Professor in 2002, and he was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2004. He joined Kobe Pharmaceutical University, Japan, as an Assistant Professor in 1996. Miyabe, moreover, received the Nissan Chemical Industries Award in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan, in 1999, the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan Kansai-Branch Award for Young Scientists in 2000, and the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan Award for Young Scientists in 2003. His research interests are the following: synthetic organic chemistry, transition-metal chemistry, and radical chemistry.
